Why are like 90% of the World Cup players wearing the exact same cleats?
Mainly, I’m referring to the fact that they’re all wearing the orange/silver combination. I know Nike cleats are probably the most popular ones to wear for soccer, I wear them myself to play ultimate, but I’m curious as to why they’re all rocking the same color rather then matching them to their teams uniforms.
You’re completely right, everyone is wearing the orange/gray colorway. Its Nike’s elite version just for the World Cup. All the Nike cleats are this color. They are this way because Nike thought it would be a good idea so players can see their teammates who are also wearing the cleats because the orange is bright. Also note that all these cleats have a carbon fiber sole which makes them more expensive than their previous models.
