Why does everyone brag about their “team”?
Am I the only person that thinks fans get a little too carried away with their favorite team? For instance the duke and UNC basketball game. Everyone freaks out like they had a say in the win or participated.
For instance some of the comments would be “oh yeah we killed duke tonight hahaah”, a counter “oh yea you beat them once haha wait till the ACC” bah blah
Am I just dull? or are fans of sports completely retarded. I played soccer my whole life and not once did I care about any pro team and wonder who was gonna win, sure I rooted for USA in the World Cup but I didn’t nut up over it when they lost or really care.
At a soccer camp the teams head coach asked me randomly who I thought was going to win a certain tourney and my response was “who is playing?” he looked dumb-founded and I was just like uh I don’t watch soccer on tv I just play it.
Im 21 and a male thats always been active, but I really could care less about any live sports. Am I the only one?
