England vs Germany prediction (2010 WC)?
What are you predictions for tomorrows football (soccer) world cup games. Mine is
2-0 to England!
Its hard to call.
the side Germany will field against us tomorrow is relatively unheard of, mostly young newbies – just how good they are remains to be seen as the tournament progresses starting in 13 hours time.
The side we trounced 5-1 in Germany, was a different side and we too had a very different team back then too.
Both teams will try to impose their game on the other early on – and who ever holds their nerve and succeeds in dominating the midfield will take this game I feel.
Hopefully Gerrard, Lampard and Rooney will show Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea but most importantly England fans – just why they have all been dubbed as world class players – in that, i hope to see all of them make a big big impact in this game.
Germany don’t have a player like any of them, They had Ballack but he got injured so I seriously want to see us dominate in Midfield.
So how do we predict the score of a game like this ?
extremely difficult given the history behind these two nations facing each other in the past in this tournament and also given the drama that ensues when these two lock horns at international level.
I hope we see the best of England at the Mangaung/Bloemfontein stadium and I don’t know what to expect other than a tense game perhaps ?
if we can get a 2 goal advantage over them – then I’ll feel secure enough, otherwise given this is Germany vs England – I expect this to be, quite simply potential heart attack material : ))
but don’t worry ! its not World Cup Italia 90 or Euro 96!
its South Africa 2010 – and its our year.
This game is the game which England stamps down its authority on the world cup and sends out a warning to the likes of Brazil, Argentina and co – ” we are here and we mean business ”
