The Euro final got a 3.1 rating, WC 2006 final got an 7.0 rating.

This year’s Stanley cup averaged a 3.2 rating and the final game got a 4.0……barely above the Euro.

This is ratings for the World Series over the last 20 or so years. You can see a consistent drop in viewership. WC 2006 almost matched game 1 of the 2006 World Series.
I think the WC final 2010 will get a 8.5-9.5 rating, and by 2014 the rating will be in the mid teens. How do you see the rise in popularity of soccer?
