Are Americans right, is soccer a boring and flawed sport in its current form?
I’ve seen quite a few World Cup matches, and there is no reason for some of the dead-end games I see on TV. 90 minutes of two sides kicking a ball around and getting nowhere is boring.
Does the game need the treatment given to it by the NHL to increase scoring? Are there too many bodies on the field to kick balls away and prevent scoring? Should the field have its size reduced a bit?
I think it’s super boring. I mean I would pissssed if I paid to go to a game and sat there for an hour and a half, saw some guys kicking the ball back and forth, and then the game ended in a tie or 1-0 or whatever. Geez.
By the way, I don’t know how you could possibly find American football boring, seeing as how there’s action all the time. I love baseball, but I could see why a person that doesn’t know too much about it would find it boring. It’s not just hitting a ball. Every pitch is different and there’s so much to it. I guess the same could be said for soccer, but I just can never get over how frustrating it is to see someone pass the ball in the OPPOSITE direction of the goal they’re trying to get to. Don’t get that.
