Going away gift ideas?
I live in Seattle, and my boyfriend has been attending my University on an exchange program from the Netherlands for almost a year now. We both love soccer (or football, as he calls it haha) and as an out-of-the-blue gift, he gave me a personalized Dutch nike soccer jersey. He will be going back home in a little over a month, and I wanted to get him something just as creative.
Awhile back I had planned on getting him the neon green Sounders jersey, but now I’m afraid that it would look like I was copying him… I was thinking maybe an old-school Sonics or Seahawks jersey, or something REALLY American that he couldn’t buy at home in Holland.
So, I’m asking you lovely people… What are some of your ideas for a unique, creative gift that will remind him of his time in the US?

A scrapbook of pictures that were taken of him while staying in the US. Take some photos of his favorite places, American foods, American past times, American friends, his school, and add some postcards of American landmarks. Make the cover creative with a flag or the Statue of Liberty, picture of the University, etc… Personalize it by having his friends from the US to sign it with a little “send off” messages.
