The Australian Prime Minister John Howard has prevented the Australian cricket team from touring Zimbabwe?
He says he does not want the regime of Mugabe given credibility by hosting an Australian tour group. Why did he have this question with the Australian national football team played a qualifying for the last World Cup in Iran?
I can understand why some be disappointed by this, but actually we are the undisputed world champions, why should We advocate an evil regime, and reward them with our World Champion team? For the same reason why the apartheid stance there have been so long in South Africa. Our boys perhaps deserves a break, instead of being forced into another dead rubber against a second-rate team, to compete no offense!
